The Spanish Agency for European Education and Training Programmes (OAPEE: Organismo Autónomo Programas Educativos Europeos) has approved the Erasmus+ Project, “Teachers of Vocational Training in European Enterprises”, submitted by the Regional Centre for Innovation and Training, “Las Acacias”. The Departments of Vocational Training and Foreign Languages will be taking part in this project. See the resolution of the call for applications.
The implementation of the project provides for the mobility of 15 Vocational Training teachers and a one-week experience with companies of their same sector in different countries, to take place in July of 2015. During this stay, the teachers will carry out the activities previously agreed upon with the host company.

Within the Erasmus+ Programme framework, this project corresponds to Key Action KA1: learning mobility of individuals, and to Type of Action: Vocational Training mobility. The main goal is for the recipients to participate in training experiences related to their professional fields and provided by innovative companies located in European countries. The teachers will take part in genuine, productive activities, while sharing a work environment which will cater to the training needs arising from the constant technological and procedural changes taking place in both the industrial and service sectors. In this way, a stronger correlation between training and the labour market will be fostered. The approved funding, as established in the above-mentioned resolution which will be used to cover the participants’ travel costs and room and board, in accordance with the official allocations published in the OAPEE call for applications.The host countries and the targeted professional fields are:



The Department of Foreign Languages will offer and supervise two courses designed specifically for this project so as to reinforce the chosen candidates’ linguistic competence:

  • “Updating your English for Professional Exchanges & Everyday Vocabulary, and Expressions in German”. The recipients will be those teachers with mobility grants to visit Germany, Austria and France. Its focus will be on English skills, but as Germany and Austria are also target countries it will include basic knowledge of German language and culture.
  • “Italian for Professional Exchanges”. The teachers granted mobility to visit Italy will be the recipients of this course,with the collaboration of the “Camera di Commercio e Industria Italiana per la Spagna”.
